Kidnapped

Hai readers

Here is a story I wrote for our literary club in school. The topic was given by our teacher.

Kidnapped
It was a bright and sunny day when I set out on foot to my aunt’s house which is about five km away from mine. But just as I had covered about 1 km it grew very windy and suddenly I found myself running because it was raining very heavily. I felt quite relieved when I saw an auto rickshaw at a distance. I put out my hand to stop it and boarded it telling the driver where I had to go. The driver stared at me for a time and then started the auto. But I dismissed it out from my mind.
I had been sitting in the auto rickshaw for a long time wondering why we hadn’t reached my aunt’s home. The rain had slowed down and as it stopped, my heart almost stopped too. We were driving through a deserted unpaved road. I looked at the driver in the side view mirror and he saw my shaken face and sniggered.
He took a cell phone from his pocket and started speaking loudly as if he wanted me to hear him. “Ah! Boss! Yes, I have got that daughter of the bank manager. Now all we’ve to do is ask for the ransom. We are sure to get it from the bank manager in return of his precious daughter!”
I was shocked! I started yelling. But there was no one to hear me. Oh no! Now what will happen? We had entered a little village and I could see small huts in the distance. Suddenly the rickshaw stopped with a jerk. There was a shepherd with his sheep crossing the road. The driver had his head out and was shouting at the shepherd. Now was my chance!
I jumped out and ran yelling all the time. The driver gave out a cry and started to follow me but he was surrounded by the sheep. Soon he was chasing me again but when he saw me entering a hut and coming out behind a giant man, he gave up and went back to the auto rickshaw. How he must have felt. He jumped in and the auto sped away.
I had never felt so relieved in my life. But there was one more problem. How was I to get back home? I was wondering about it when I suddenly saw our milkman, a very honest and kind fellow. I wondered how my mother would feel when she see me coming back home with our milkman.

Hope you enjoyed it.

Home Sweet Home

One more poem

Home Sweet Home

When the bell rings Tring! Tring!
I run out with all my things
‘Cause it is time to go
To my Home Sweet Home!

Grab your books
Ignore all looks
And make a dash
To the door, but do not crash
Just run with your things
‘Cause you’ve heard the bell ring
Tring! Tring!
It’s time to go
To my Home Sweet Home!

It’s where I learnt to run and play
To talk to others the whole day
Yes, its time to go
To my home sweet home
To my loving parents
And my teddy sitting all alone!

bye

Save our Earth

Hai

Here is another of my poem…

Save our Earth

Save our Planet
Save our Earth
Or there will be no life
And no birth

We have made the air grey
And the water so brown
Don’t ruin the soil, I say
Or there will be no ground to play

Nuclear bombs are being designed
By people who are never nice
I think you do know
What will happen if a bomb burst so!

Yes, I guess you do know
It will be blown apart for all you know
So live in peace
To save our Earth
Save our Planet
And life and birth

Hope you enjoyed it.

How I met a Tiger…. Roaarrr!!

Hai,

Read the story and please comment….

How I met a tiger

It was a moonlit night. But still it was very dark in the forest. I was all alone in there, with my friends nowhere in sight. The forest was near my grandparent’s village. Just today morning had my grandmother warned me not to go alone to the forest because there was a tiger on the prowl. The forest was almost cut up and the tiger had lost its home.
I hadn’t actually disobeyed my grandmother. I had gone out with my friends; one older than me and the others younger. They all knew the jungle like the back of their hands. It was like they could safely cross it blind fold. But I couldn’t. I was just a visitor. We had been playing hide and seek when suddenly I lost track of them. I wandered for some time wondering where the others were. By then it had darkened and I couldn’t find the way home.
Then suddenly I heard a distant roar. I cautiously looked around fearing for my life. Where was I to go in this darkness?  Should I climb a tree? I glanced about but I couldn’t find any trees suitable for me to climb up. Then I heard a twig crack and something glittering green among the bushes a few feet away shone like marbles reflecting light. Oh no! The tiger’s eyes!  It was quite near.  Maybe it had come near the village seeking revenge!
I had no chance of escape. It could easily outrun me. I lost my voice in fear. The tiger slowly moved into sight growling. Was it a man eater?  What would happen to me now? All kinds of horrible thoughts flashed through my mind.  Here I was lost in the jungle at night and facing an angry tiger!
I was cornered near a tree. Suddenly the tiger pounced upon me and started shaking me. I let up a horrible scream but it didn’t come out properly. And I closed my eyes waiting for the sharp bite to come tearing me to pieces.
But then nothing of that sort happened. It was only shaking me and I slowly peeped out of my half opened eyes. What a relief! I was delighted at what I saw. It was my mother smiling down at me. Thank God it was only a dream! I smiled back at my mother and said”I am glad it’s only you mom!”
“Then who did you think it was?” Asked my mother “A tiger? “

Thats it….Did You like it?

Freaks!

Hi Again Readers,

I’m really sorry that I couldn’t post anything in last 2-3 months. The computer had a lot of problems and we went for an upgrade. They took a lot of time to deliver it. During this time, I spent a lot of time writing some new poems and other stuff. So here is one of them. Go ahead and enjoy.

Freaks

Many people are freaks,
They love birds with giant beaks,
They have furniture which always creaks,
They are quite afraid to speak.

Some people always sneak,
They have water pipes which leak,
They sometimes act very meek,
They love eating lots of steak,
And for it they go till the peak.

Some people love playing ‘Hide n’ seek’
They hide behind mango trees and teaks
They run about all through the week
Till they grow quite pale and weak

Some people love to mimic
But watch out, some may run and kick
They’ll throw at you whatever they pick
They usually throw stones but they can throw bricks.

Some people always get sick
You can find them mostly in a doctor’s clinic
So much they drink
They drink till they shrink
And you can see them at death’s brink.
